This work is made up of stagings and still life vanities, with the common desire of a same aesthetic and refined palette. The photographs are composed in stiff frames, representing absurd, unreal or just dream-like images that draw their inspiration from our doubts. Still lifes, which open and close the series, play on the ambiguity of fragile transience and eternity. Similarly, the characters who appear in the photographs, although being represented prisoners behind tiny spaces, seem lost in an latent in-between: seized between the disillusionment of childhood dreams and anxiety of time. While the overall tone - just like the color - is dark, the images are still flirting with poetry and humor.
